The Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources is offering an interactive, reflective, and introspective, 2-hour program for adolescents who are experimenting with alcohol or other substances, or whose parents are concerned about potential use. The program includes an educational component for parents and caregivers.
Youth who attend this program will have an increased awareness of:
Why people might use substances
How substance use might impact a person's life and their environment
Practice using goal-setting and action-planning tools
Parents who attend will have an increased awareness of adolescent substance use, level of risk, and how to have conversations with youth about substance use.
This program is available at no cost to families.
We offer programs that help parents and families connect in a safe and fun way.
We offer recovery support services for individuals who misuse substances and those who love them.
